Li Lo is planning to take out a restraining order on her father, Michael Lohan because he keeps embarrassing his troubled daughter in the media.

The Mean Girls star - who recently claimed dad Michael should be "on medication" to stop him publicly shaming her - is said to be "terrified" the 48-year-old will harm her.

A source said: "Lindsay is going to take out an order of protection against Michael. He is behaving so erratically that she's terrified he'll do something to her. She's contacted her lawyer to arrange this."

The source added to the New York Post newspaper: "Ali already has an order of protection against him, as does Dina. No one is speaking with him until he gets help."

The pair's troubled relationship came to a head recently when Michael accused Lindsay's girlfriend Samantha Ronson of "using" his daughter for publicity. Lindsay, in turn, called Michael a "public embarrassment and a bully".

Lindsay Lohan wrote on her MySpace page: "My father obviously needs to be on medication to control his moods. He is out of line and his words show how much anger he has, and it's dangerous and scary as it reminds me of how he treated my mother and I my whole childhood.

"He needs to be stopped. This is yet another reason why we aren't speaking."

I think no, I am NOT the only person who feels that way! I wish they would just quit paying attention to britney, paris and lindsay. their lives are so boring that I think they just decided one day to see who could get the most atrocious headlines. they suck. they shoudl take one years wages away from each one of them and get food and clothing and special needs to the homeless and hungry around the world... :)

I think Lindsay Lohan has finally found someone that cares about her and a good influence on her as well. Both of them seem to be happy with each other (couple or not) and you have seen less and less news of Lindsay Lohan ODed and partying lately.

But, yet people seem to be so hard on them just because Samantha Ronson doesn't look like a hollywood babe doll.

Sometimes i think that's what Lindsay Lohan see in Samantha Ronson because of her down-to-earth appearance and presumably awesome personality.

Lindsay Lohan looked a lot better when she was dating guys, she looked fantastic really.

Now Lindsay looks kind of drury but hey, whatever.. that doesn't have anything to do with this. I mean if she's happy, she's happy and I can see her improvement. Maybe that was why Lohan was going through so much crap, maybe this was the explanation or maybe she's just fed up with guys.

But I bet the relationship doesn't last. I think Lohan is just doing it to get attention. She will be with a guy in 2 years time. I do believe that sooner or later she will be dating a guy again

A report say that Lindsay Lohan wants to start a family with rumoured her girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

She has apparently so set on having a child that she is already seeking out a daddy to help out with baby-making duties.

Lindsay Lohan - was has spent several stints in rehab for drug and alcohol addiction - is said to believe that a child will help her recovery.

A source close to the couple told the News of the World say “Lindsay is in a very happy place at the moment. She’s been having deep discussions about a baby,”
